Set on one of Praslin’s best beaches, Lemuria is a beautiful hotel with a huge variety of things to keep you occupied.

Lemuria is nestled between two beautiful white sandy beaches with a gorgeous lagoon. We were delighted to discover that there is also a third, even more stunning beach, hidden away and much less accessible. As most people don’t bother to make the trip, it remains very secluded. Ask the hotel to make you a picnic lunch with plenty of cold drinks and spend the day in this mini paradise. The suites are elegant and spacious with funky bathrooms that open up onto the bedroom. For the ultimate choice, the new freestanding villas with private gardens and plunge pools offer a particularly secluded setting with all the facilities of an excellent hotel. The beautiful swimming pool is composed of three pools set amongst granite boulders and palm trees cascading into each other. Apart from lazing by the pool, there are many activities on offer. Snorkelling from the hotel’s beaches is excellent; on our last visit we swam with turtles and alongside huge manta rays. An excellent and beautiful golf course keeps the more active busy while the pampering Spa provides relaxing treatments. Lemuria has three excellent restaurants including the main restaurant Legends, overlooking the ocean, which is particularly stunning at night with its dramatic lighting.

This is the perfect hotel for anyone who gets itchy feet just lying on a beach or who enjoys being able to dress up for dinner.
