Honeymoon Gift List
A Honeymoon Gift List is a modern alternative to the traditional Wedding Gift List as you may find that you don’t have a pressing need for another 8 toasters and 10 kettles. The Ultimate Honeymoon Gift List will allow your guests to either contribute to the overall cost of your Ultimate Honeymoon or to add a few special touches. These can range from a room upgrade to champagne, spa treatments and even trips in a hot air balloon over the Serengeti.
How it works
One of our consultants will help you put together your Ultimate Honeymoon. The consultant will then be able to tell you exactly what extras and upgrades are available. You can then decided what little luxuries you would like to add to your Honeymoon Gift List. We supply you with 100 Gift List cards to include when you send the wedding invitations to your guests. This card informs them that you have a Honeymoon Gift List held with us and our contact details if they would like to purchase a present for you.
The same booking procedures apply to a honeymoon booked with a Gift List as one without. Therefore at the time of booking we require a 20% deposit and your full balance will be due 8 weeks before departure. Typically most guests wont get around to organising your present until 2 or 3 weeks before the wedding. As the availability of some of the extras such as room upgrades, especially in our small hotels, are limited these should ideally be booked at the time you confirm your honeymoon with us. You will receive regular updates as to what has been brought and by whom. You may prefer to consolidate all of your presents to put towards the total cost of your honeymoon in which case we simply deduct the total from your balance.
Guests: How to purchase a present from the Ultimate Honeymoons Gift List
Please email or call us and we will then send you a copy of the couples Gift List together with details on payment methods. You can then decide either to buy a specific present or you may prefer to give towards the overall cost of the couples Gift List and let them decide what they would use it on.
